Since Sears Holdings Corp. and Kmart merged in March 2005, the Sears company has been working to spruce up its Kmart stores nationwide. One of the recent changes is the addition of an Internet cafe stocked with a cluster of computers where shoppers can go online for one hour to surf the Internet, check e-mail and shop online.
In South Florida, 13 Kmart stores have been remodeled, including 10 this year at locations stretching from Lake Park to Miami. Many are celebrating their grand reopening this month. There are 20 Kmart stores across Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade counties. Read more here (Sun Sentinel) |
