 When  Ingrid Gee started her online lifestyle resource guide and accompanying daily talk show seven months ago, she had a simple goal - improve people's lives by connecting them with the right information and the right businesses.

Now, the 33-year-old petite blonde hopes to bring more people together as she prepares to open in January an Internet cafe on Market Square, where she will broadcast her radio show live with co-host Mark Atnip, the voice of the Knoxville Ice Bears hockey team.

The cafe will feature prepackaged gourmet food for take-home or dine-in. Ten booths equipped with computers will provide guests free Internet access, or patrons can bring in their own laptops to use free Wi-fi.

Gee and Atnip will broadcast their radio show from a 500-square-foot, floor-to-ceiling glass studio inside the cafe,"I want to combine the nostalgia of radio's past with modern-day technology," Gee said.
