Vietnam: Yahoo! launches first cyber cafe |

Yahoo! Vietnam on Tuesday announced a new internet coffee shop initiative to serve the needs of people and businesses in the country and to further capitalize on the growing market. The opening of its first Internet coffee shop in HCMC is considered as the next step of Yahoo! to penetrate deeper into Vietnam after the U.S.-based Internet service provider launched Yahoo! Hoi va Dap in the country in late August. Yahoo! says that the country now has over 15 million people online, or an Internet penetration rate of 18%. It forecast the number of users will double to 30 million in 2010. Read more at Saigon Times
