According to the latest report by China Internet Network Information Centre (CNNIC), at the end of June 2007, Chinese Internet users has reached 162 million, which means an increase of 25 million in last six months, the biggest half-yearly increase ever. Many people forget today about the 'cafe' part in the Internet Cafe. But it can be a real boon to your business if you serve good coffee or tea. With so many flavours and brands and prices kinds of coffee, it's a difficult decision. Obviously the choice of beverages depends on the audience of your internet cafe - are they locals or tourists? how much will they spend on coffee? A Canadian technology firm UserFul has developed a new software that enables multiple use of single personal computers.
The technology, which is targeted at schools, call centres and Internet cafe operators, enables several monitors to use one Central Processing Unit (CPU) concurrently— enabling operators of businesses that need a large number of computer to cut costs. |

A CLAMPDOWN on Internet cafes aims to prevent users from accessing pornographic sites and thwart the use of pirated CDs, officials said yesterday. "Most Internet cafe owners are starting to change their businesses because people now have Internet access at home. Besides, many people have laptops and go to coffee shops to connect to the Internet, so they don't use these cafes anymore." |
